--Somos Player Model for UT2k3 v2.1--
by pospi.
Bio by muddasheep.
This model is based on a character from HalfQuake: Amen, a Half-Life mod by muddasheep, blackjack and jazzymike. It is a little different to the normal kinds of model you'd find out there.. but that's because it is based on a world that may not have the same kind of laws as our own.
Features
New features and improvements over the old version:
- Team Skins (red, blue, green and gold)
- When playing non-team games, each time you are killed a new colour is randomly chosen.
- Lightning 'bleed' effect now has team colours.
- Effects now work online (for those running it only, obviously).
- Lightning is only present when being damaged, so players can hide again (:
- Cubes now only fall off the model when it is damaged.
- Model makes a random electricity shock sound when damaged.
- Huge arcs of electricity fly off the model when damaged (this is visible by the player they emanate from also).
- When gibbed, hundreds of cubes fall from the model, instead of only a few.
- Model and its code will be pushed properly by servers now.
- Cubes which emanate from the model no longer die imediately when the player dies.

Known Issues
- The lightning effect and 4 cubes with musical notes and clefs on them will stay visible when the
somos dies or obtains invisibility. This is by design, not by accident. It's just to make invisibility
a little less lame (:
- His face turns into an ugly texture plane when an effect must scale across the texture (translocator effect,
shield belt hit effect, link gun hit effect, shock effect).
- Also, *sigh* i needn't even say this, but you can't see the model or any of the effects unless you
have it installed. However, if you join a server running it, it will download to your cache and you'll
be able to see it.
Finally, thanks to all the sadists at Personal Halfquake for beta testing, support and the like.
